Beauty and the Beast was Music Theatre Wichita's first show of the 2023 Summer Season, and it was performed at the Capitol Federal Amphitheater in Andover, KS. This was my first time being tasked to deploy a lighting rig outside. Some of the rented fixtures were IP rated for the Kansas weather, but we had to have rain protocols for ones that weren't and for all of the power distribution. Every night, lots of trash bags, lots of tarps.
